As part of TEX WORLD exhibition (international trade fair: fabrics, trims, accessories), which will take place in Paris from 12 to 15 September 2016 (Parc des expositions, Paris Le Bourget), will be held a conference dedicated to the identification and elimination in the supply chains of non-desirable substances such as substances that may have a negative impact on health or on the environment. At this conference, the non-profit organization ChemSec will present the tool "Textile Guide", an online guide that allows textile professionals to identify, evaluate and replace undesirable substances within the supply chain.
The TEX WORLD exhibition will provide to visitors a route on the topic of ecological textiles: the "Sustainable Sourcing Itinerary", this guide will list dozens of suppliers offering textiles certified GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), Organic Exchange, bluesign.
