Developed and patented by APPVION company, Alpha® free thermal paper is guaranteed by the manufacturer without phenols (such as BPA , BPS , D8 ... ) and without urea compounds (such as Pergafast 201, urea/urethane compounds , ...): vitamin C is used as a thermal developer.
The potential applications of this thermal paper include all kinds of receipts (supermarket, restaurant) and coupons.
According to the company APPVION, the time life of a receipt printed on Free Alpha thermal paper is five years (under adequate storage conditions).
Already available in the US, this product will be soon on the European market.
