K 2019
The triennial K trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry, which will be held in Düsseldorf from 16 to 23 October 2019, will be organized according to four themes: raw materials and auxiliaries; machinery and equipment; semi-finished products, technical parts and reinforced plastic; services, research and science. On this occasion, chemicals producers able to substitute bisphenols are likely to be present.

INTERPLASTICA 2019
The 22nd International Plastics and Rubber Fair will be held from 29 January to 1 February 2019 at the Moscow Exhibition Center and will present the latest trends and innovations for plastics and rubber.
200 chemicals with a chemical structure similar to bisphenol A may be on the European market
The Swedish chemicals agency KEMI published a study identifying 200 chemicals with a chemical structure similar to BPA likely to be on the European market. Among these substances, 37 bisphenols could have endocrine disrupting properties and six of these bisphenols were considered problematic due to their properties and uses. This study is therefore a useful source of information to avoid a "regrettable" substitution by a molecule presenting dangers similar to BPA.
